I read over 500 books a year. My favorite genre is Christian fiction, suspense , Amish romance and historical. A favorite memory of Christmas is every year I would get the book of lifesavers . I loved that candy and tried to save it as long as I could. My boys always make sure I have a book of lifesavers now at Christmascherish time. It’s a treasured memory that I cherish because my boys have continued that tradition to make sure their mom has that special childhood gift every year. Of course now they also know to get me gift cards I can use to buy books. I would be honored to win the Christmas in July giveaway. I have never met a book I didn’t like.
    Thanks
    Deana

I love reading! Always have….as a kid I would stay up till morning reading. Then I’d be exhausted at school. If my parents caught me (which happened a lot), I would be grounded….from whichever book I was currently reading! Thanks for the chance on winning the books and letting me be a rebellious adult! ;)

  • Sarah Baker

I can actually do the “most embarressig moment” comment. I was trying on a couple tops when I got off work one day and I’d popped out to ask the fitting room associate’s opinion (she was a friend of mine), and had then gone back in to pull my clothes on when I heard her chatting with a guy, then I heard a key in the door. I backed against the door to keep it from opening all the way (I wasn’t dressed yet) and I guess my friend either saw my reflection in the mirror, or maybe my catching the door jogged her memory, because she pulled it closed very quickly and I heard “Oops! You seem very nice, but she probably doesn’t want to share a room with you!” I turned beet red and finished dressing quickly. When I stepped out she started apologizing and said that poor guy turned as red or maybe darker than I had. It was a little reassuring that they were both as embarrassed as me, but I left just hoping he hadn’t seen the reflection of me not fully dressed. So, yeah, that’s the most embarrassing thing to happen to me lately. Hope you got a laugh out of it. :)
Thanks for the chance to win some awesome books!

    • Heather

Haha! Sarah, I’ve got a dressing room story too. I actually got the “call” from my New York editor in a dressing room. She told me they wanted to buy my book and I started to jump up and down. When I came out of the dressing room, two employees thought I was just REALLY excited about the jeans I tried on. ;)

  • Sally Davison

I am in several book clubs all that started with Facebook. I also love Goodreads. I am a reviewer for just 3 writers which I thoroughly enjoy. I wish you the best in your writing!

  • Congratulations on your success!! What an awesome giveaway! I’ve never read a Christmas romance novel before…perhaps this could be my first one!

  • Sarah

    Thanks

  • jcp

I’m reading a lot of historical Christian romance now from Harlequin’s Love Inspired Historical line. Two of my favorite Christians that fit the genre are: The Captain’s Christmas Family by Deborah Hale and The Bargain by Shana Hatfield

  • rachel cartucci

I love the classics and very serious British novels but at the same time I love children’s series….I guess I am flexible…I just enjoy reading. Thanks for this terrific giveaway.

  • Susan Dyer

Thank you so much for a great giveaway!!

  • Trixi O.

I don’t have a favorite Christmas story, but I do have a favorite movie or two I watch every year. “It’s A Wonderful Life” and “A Christmas Carol” by George C. Scott. I also, for the first time in my life, watched “Miracle on 34th Street” a couple of years back so I’ve added that to my list as well. I think it’s because of the magic of Christmas time and celebrating with the family & friends in your life. Not that we can’t do that all year around, but there’s just something special about Christmas :-)

  • Donna

I’m kind of part of a neighborhood book club. My neighbors and I get together on the weekends and we pick a book, share our experiences and thoughts on the book all whilst having a mini potluck :)

  • tami

I’m so proud of you my friend and I love your books! <3

  • Renee

Since I know one of the authors personally :) this would be so delightful!
