Saturday was National Cake Decorating Day, and after seeing the cutest cake pops on Family Circle’s home page of Jack ‘o Lantern cake pops, I was inspired. (You might want to check out the link as they look nothing like mine.)
Rest assured I’m keeping my day job… I’ve never been good at cake decorating. But it was a lot of fun (and yummy)!
First you mix up cake and cake frosting (yum) and dip the balls into candy coating. We skipped the green tic tacs on top (would’ve been cute though).
And then they painted with icing.
So much fun… if you are good at this stuff, this book is full of awesome ideas!
