Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!

As I mentioned yesterday, Valerie at Frugal Family Fun was inspired by some extreme sport type tea tags she saw and made her own by having a jumping photo session.

We tried the jumping and sadly my camera is simply not fast enough to catch the hair-raising event.  But the kids are so dramatic, I think they did just fine, don’t you?

Mike has a cup of green tea every afternoon at work.  The kids and I are snickering with the thought that they’ll be ‘hanging out’ with Dad at work.

The how to?

Just take full body photographs, then in your photo editing software choose to either print them as thumbnails, or put it all in a collage and print a 5×7 of it.  Cut out the bodies, glue them to the original tea tag and cut around that!

UPDATE:  As I’m admiring how cute these turned out, I can’t help but be saddened that they will eventually be thrown away.  So, next year I’m doing the same thing, and turning them into bookmarks!  I’ll make it look like the kids are hanging onto the bookmark tassel.  Won’t that be cute?!  And a perfect last minute gift idea!
