Thanks to Tyndale Publishers, I will be giving away a certificate for a FREE….
What’s In the Bible Volume 4 DVD — made by Phil Vischer, the guy who created VeggieTales and JellyTelly!
I’m not allowed to review it for you until November 22nd, which will be the day that I will pick the winner!
But I will say that I’m passionate about this set because it puts some amazing conversational tools in the hands of parents.
The Bible says in Deuteronomy 6:
“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”
I think sometimes we forget that, as parents, we are to be engaging with our children about God — the scripture doesn’t say take your kids to sunday school or raise them in church and it’ll be taken care of. While I’m not putting these things down, they don’t take the place of what we’re called to do.
I get that parents don’t often feel equipped. Here’s a truth — the volunteers and teachers of Sunday schools generally aren’t either. There are exceptions, but a whole host of those servant-heart volunteers would admit that without the curriculum they’d be hurting. Another truth– if kids have a question and you say ‘I don’t know, maybe we can find out together’ they’ll become more engaged, not less.
That’s why I’m excited for a fun video series that bridges the gap for parents and gives inspiration to learn the Word of God as a family. It answers HARD questions for both kids & adults.
I promise you’ll learn something new or at least another way of thinking of the Bible. The giveaway DVD focuses on Judges & Ruth. Start with volume 1! You have a month to catch up to Volume 4 when I give away the freebie!
How do you enter?
Simply put your name (just your first name will be fine), email address (won’t be shown) in the comments section of this post. After Anabelle gives her video review on the 22nd, I’ll email the winner, get their address, and the certificate will be on its way.
Fun!

hope I win this!! I watched the very first link you put up when this series was created and thought it was great… had forgotten about it until now!
Awesome! Thanks for providing this resource. I’m praying that whoever gets it, will put it to good use.
Awesome!
Parents taking responsibility for the discipleship of their children is why I’ve fallen in love with out family-integrated church. It’s so easy to rely on the Sunday School teacher without even meaning too. Now I have no choice. I must answer the hard questions or find out the answers.
I love homeschooling. I love Whats in The Bible. I love you, my friend. And, I love the cream from the top of the jar of fresh cow milk in the morning coffee. A good devotion & creamer makes all the world right.
Ugh… think I missed the giveaway… hopefully next time! Great stuff!
As a Granma with lots of grandkids I was told about your site. Great Job! Love Veggie Tales myself, what a fun way to learn about God and Jesus and His love for us. Hope to win this so I can share with my grandkids and Sunday School groups.

Luv ya Heather!!! Quick cute story: Luke said to me the other night as he was going to bed, “Hey Mom, remember Anabelle?” “Yes, I do.” “I miss her,” he said with a sad look on his face. “I miss her and her family, too, honey.”
We have the previous version and it is awesome! These are great tools, and I think Phil has an amazing vision for children’s Christian edutainment!
This looks awesome for my kiddos, so I thought I’d see if I could win it for them!
