It’s that time of year again.
That time of year when you pull out the gloves because the morning air is crisp and chilly. And every year, you find that the gloves escaped your organized winter bin and ended up in various places in the house. Once gathered, you find that there is not one single match. Every year. And every year, at this time, you pledge to only buy black knit gloves so that every glove matches. But somehow pink and white and blue sneaks in. Gloves are sneakier than socks, I tell you!
It’s also that time of year when the kiddos pick up their indoor projects and hobbies. So, your camera and tripod and green screen keep disappearing. And, when you get on the computer, you can’t find your dock (or toolbar) of applications because your kids were trying to help you make your computer ‘more efficient’ because the school is making your kids all tech savvy.
It’s also that time of year when freeze warnings happen and you are too busy at night to check the forecast, so in the wee hours of morning, you throw on slippers and garden gloves and run outside with a towel turban still on your head hollering, “Save the tomatoes! Save the tomatoes!”
Ah. I love this time of year. Fall is truly my favorite time of year.
